Barbera Fish Festival

Barbera Fish Festival is an event dedicated to celebrate the unusual marriage between Barbera d'Asti Wines from Agliano and prized Norwegian Cod. Organised in collaboration with the Norwegian Seafood
Council (Norwegian state-controlled entity for the promotion and protection of Norwegian seafood).
We have already held two events, the first on 18-20 October 2014 and the second on 10-12 October 2015 both with the participation of renowned international chefs who collaborated with prestigious Italian Chefs in the preparation of seafood dishes paired with Barbera Wines from our local Aglianese producers.
Amongst the chefs we welcomed Norwegian Orjan Johannessen, gold medalist of the Bocuse d'Or 2015, and Gunnar Hvarnes, bronze Bocuse d'Or 2011. We also welcomed Enrico Crippa of the restaurant Piazza Duomo in Alba which has three Michelin Stars, Walter Underwire, Luca Zecchin, Ugo Alciati and Igor Macchia.
The first two editions of the event have been a great success and developed a strong following from the public, including many tourists from Northern Europe.
The twinning of Agliano Terme and Norway continues and the next edition of Barbera FishFestival will take place in 2017 in October. - Lesen Sie das komplette Programm
